A new dairy complex, Vakinskoe Agro, was opened in the Ryazan region. This is the second phase of a large-scale investment project, which was launched in the region at the end of 2013.
The new complex is designed for 2,300 cows and includes a milking and dairy unit, maternity and drying sections, cowsheds and calves, a complex of silage trenches, a veterinary unit and other necessary premises and communications. The investment volume amounted to 1.52 billion rubles.
The new farm is expected to produce 19.6 thousand tons of milk per year. The implementation of the project has created 57 jobs.
Governor Nikolai Lyubimov noted that the enterprise will continue to expand.
"It is very important that we keep opening new modern, well-equipped farms, according to all world standards. It means additional capacity, additional jobs, taxes and investments for us. The project is very large and it continues to develop, with plans to create a third phase. We have supported it and will continue to do so," he said.
