Moscow Technopolis residents tripled their exports

Residents of Technopolis "Moscow" in first six months of 2021 supplied abroad production for a total amount of 523 million rubles, which is 3,3 times more than during the same period last year, said the mayor of the capital.

According to Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Vladimir Efimov, every eighth resident of the special economic zone exports its products. At that, microelectronics manufacturers account for the largest export volume.

"They provided almost 70% of total exports, selling abroad goods worth 365.7 million rubles. Also inspection and disinfection-washing equipment, lithium-ion batteries and composite materials were exported", - added Alexander Prokhorov, the head of the capital department of investment and industrial policy.

The residents' products are purchased in Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Poland and Slovenia, General Director of Technopolis Gennady Degtev noted. In addition, the capital's products are imported by China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia and Myanmar. They also export to the CIS countries, Egypt, Turkey, Israel, the USA and Canada.

TechnopolisMoscow consists of five sites with a total area of 223.3 hectares. One of them is located in Pechatniki, the others are in Zelenograd: Mikron, MIET, Angstrem and Alabushevo.
