Wildberries will invest 8 billion rubles in Bachelor's Day and Black Friday
Russian retailer Wildberries will invest 5.3 times more in Bachelor's Day and Black Friday than last year. According to the press service of the company, the volume of investments will amount to 8 billion rubles.
"The company's total expenditure in support of sellers and subsidizing discounts will amount to about 8 billion rubles, thanks to which entrepreneurs, primarily small and medium businesses, will be able to increase the volume of sales of their goods during the sales," the retailer said.
In anticipation of the high sales season Wildberries has also strengthened its logistics facilities: about 350,000 square meters of new warehouse space was opened during the year, and a new model of sales from entrepreneurs' warehouses was launched, which allowed Russian businesses to optimize their logistics costs and take advantage of a reduced trading commission of 1 to 5%.
The company also expects further growth in the number of partner branded points of issue due to the launch of the subsidy program, which represents an increased reward on the turnover of branded points of issue, it will quickly recoup the investment in opening new points and re-branding the existing ones. In the first month entrepreneurs can get up to 10% of turnover up to 2 million rubles, in the second - up to 9%, in the third - up to 8%, in the fourth - up to 7%.
