Metropolitan entrepreneurs have rented from the city at preferential rates about 260 non-residential premises with a total area of more than 24 thousand "squares" for this year, according to the official website of Moscow mayor.

"Following the results of special tenders for small and medium-sized businesses and self-employed during nine months of 2021, entrepreneurs have concluded with the city 259 lease contracts of non-residential real estate with a total area of 24,4 thousand square meters", - words of Deputy Mayor Vladimir Efimov are given on the website.

In total, since 2017, small and medium-sized enterprises have leased almost two thousand objects from the city on preferential terms. Their area amounted to 227 thousand square meters.

The initial bidding rate for basement premises is one thousand rubles per square meter per year, and for the above-ground part of buildings - 4.75 thousand rubles. The premises can be leased for up to 10 years.
