In Russia, the leaders in online sales are sports and fitness, microloans and online education. This is reported in the analytics service CloudPayments for the first 9 months of 2021, writes TASS.
It is noted that fitness purchases increased by 47%, while the average purchase amount since the beginning of the year decreased by 9% from 3,183 rubles to 2,893 rubles. "The growth in online demand in this product category is primarily due to the fact that more and more sports and fitness clubs are switching to online payment for subscriptions and individual classes, conduct remote training with online payment", - explained in CloudRayments.
The growth of online demand for microcredits was 28%. At the same time, the average amount of the loan issued for the year decreased by 39% from 10 111 rubles to 6 218 rubles. The service explained that such a picture reflects the general situation of growth unsecured lending in the market, and reducing the amount indicates the desire of microfinance institutions to reduce the risk of defaults in a situation of high overdraft population.
In third place was online education with a turnover growth rate of 25% since the beginning of the year. Unlike the previous categories, analysts can see a 17% increase in the average purchase amount in this product category since the beginning of the year: from RUB 2,981 to RUB 3,474.
