The international short film festival shnit Worldwide Shortfilmfestival will take place in Moscow on October 21-31, 2021.

The international part of the festival is represented by several almanacs at once: the WORLDWIDE programme, blocks with the colour names DRAMATIC GREEN, HEAVY ORANGE, SUNNY BLUE, MIDNIGHT YELLOW, COMEDY shnit comedy programmes and experimental film shnit EXPERIMENTS.

In the framework of the Festival there will be a national competition Made in Russia, with three programs of 16 films. Among them, for example, a musical drama about homelessness from the creator of music videos Antokha MC "Bro Brodyaga", a prize-winner at Kinotavr "Hero" by Sonya Raizman, Artdocfest participant "AlphaRomeo" by Radik Rakhimov, an adaptation of prose by Evgeniya Nekrasova, "Hands" by Katya Skakun and other films.

The premiere screenings of each block with the participation of directors and film crews will take place at the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art lecture hall. In addition,the "Moskino" cinema chain, the "Illusion" cinema, the Multimedia Art Museum, and the "Rassvet" culture house will serve as venues for the festival.

The shnit Worldwide Shortfilmfestival takes place simultaneously in seven cities on four continents - in Bern, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, Cape Town, Cairo, Moscow and San Jose. This year it will feature 60 films made by directors from Russia, Switzerland, Chile, Canada, the UK, Iran, the USA, the Netherlands, and other countries.
