The first batch of Sputnik Lite was delivered to Nicaragua
More than 190,000 doses of the Russian single-component vaccine against the coronavirus Sputnik Lite were delivered to Nicaragua. The cargo was received at the airport by the head of the Nicaraguan Ministry of Health, presidential advisors and the Russian trade representative.
The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade said that this was the first consignment, which included 192 thousand doses of the drug.
The contract for the supply was concluded between the Russian Direct Investment Fund and the Ministry of Health of Nicaragua.
The single-component vaccine Sputnik Lite was registered in Nicaragua in May this year. Today the country already immunizes with the two-component Russian product Sputnik V as well as Covishield and AstraZeneca.
