Representatives of Russia's trade mission in Slovakia met with furniture manufacturers at the international exhibition of furniture, office equipment and interior design Moddom-2021 in Bratislava, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

"As a result of negotiations, Slovak manufacturers expressed interest in supplying Russian components for baths and massage chairs, as well as distribution of decorative panels made in Russia," the report said.

It is specified that representatives of trade mission met with Czech and Slovak producers. Among them are companies dealing with façade brick processing, production of massage baths and chairs and distribution of decorative panels.

Sergey Stupar, Russian Trade Representative to Slovakia, described the market of finished furniture in the European Union as dynamic and promising for exporters from Russia. Russian furniture shipments to the country grew by 80% in the last eight months of this year alone, compared to the same period in 2020.
