Maxim Gorky Film Studio, which created such films as "The Quiet Don", "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" and "Seventeen Moments of Spring", will become a modern cinematic center.

As told in the Cabinet, its modernization will be directed more than 1.1 billion rubles.

"As part of the modernization until 2024 will be reconstructed and equipped with modern equipment pavilions legendary film studio, as well as build new facilities. As a result, one of the oldest national film studios will be a multipurpose venue for the production of films with a large-format cinema hall, a multimedia museum of film history, children's center, film school, post-production complex and the necessary infrastructure", - the report says.

It is noted that the further plans of the film studio are to increase the volume of film production with the accent on youth, family, documentary and popular-science directions, and also development of multifunctional complex with modern production facilities and full cycle services for production of digital content.
