The CEO of Made in Russia told how to promote Russian goods abroad

To promote Russian brands in the international markets, companies should pay attention to information support of products and services, said Mikhail Sadchenkov, CEO of Made in Russia, during his speech at the session of the International Quality Day forum.

He said that a serious problem today is that the country has not systematically formed a format for promoting business abroad, as well as there are no information protection tools for domestic companies. "There are no media outlets in Russia that broadcast abroad about Russian business. There are several reasons for this. It's quite a costly story," Sadchenkov explained.

The project CEO also pointed to the need for companies to be interested in working to increase awareness of their own brands. The first step in that direction is filling the company's website.

"We ourselves have come across the situation when a company has just an empty website, when there is no description of what the company does, when there is no actual information, when there are no pictures from the production. The owners should understand that all this plays a key role in the image of the organization", - he explained.
