United Confectioners' factories won gold at an international contest
The products of the United Confectioners holding's factories were awarded 12 gold medals at the international food competition Guarantee of Quality 2021. The holding's press service told the Made in Russia editorial office about it.
Thus, the winners in the nomination "For High Quality" among confectionary products were confections "Knee Bear", "Mask" and "Walnut Grove", which are produced under the brand of "Krasny Octyabr". Besides, the prize-winners were "Rot Front" sweets, "Bird's milk" sweets and a set of sweets "Krasny Octyabr" with additives.
Several types of confectionery products from the Penza Confectionery Factory, as well as dark chocolate "Lux" (concern "Babayevsky") were also awarded gold medals. A set of 'Krasny Oktyabr' sweets with whole and crushed hazelnuts came in first place in the 'Best Packaging' category.
When assessing the quality, various indicators were taken into account, including the appearance of the product, quality of packaging, compliance of labeling with the established requirements and organoleptic properties.
"All products, which were highly evaluated by industry experts, are united by painstaking work of technologists, who created bright and memorable flavor combinations, provision of multi-stage quality control by manufacturers in production, as well as careful selection of ingredients for production of confectionery products," - the press service said.
Cocoa products for products are produced in their own processing workshops. Only direct-pressed cocoa oil that has not been deodorized is used for chocolate production. This guarantees the finished product has a rich and natural cocoa flavor, the press service says.
This year the contest was attended by 126 companies from Russian regions and neighboring countries, which presented more than 900 samples to the jury.
