Altai expects to attract 40 million rubles by raising the resort fee

Authorities of Altai region expect to get more than 40 million rubles due to increase of resort fee in 2022. As mayor of Belokurikha Konstantin Bazarov informed, it is three times more than for the current year.

"According to our calculations, we will get about 10 million rubles additionally from the increase of the resort fee in 2022. Thus, we plan to collect more than 40 million rubles next year, "- he said.

The authorities plan to use the funds to carry out construction work on the resort square, which is one of the most passable areas of the resort area, as well as the reconstruction of the Belokurikha river embankment.

Recall, since 2018 in the Altai, Krasnodar, Stavropol Territory and Crimea there is an experiment on levying a fee for the use of resort infrastructure. In the Altai Territory, the fee is charged only in the resort town Belokurikha. In October, the local authorities decided to increase the amount of resort fee from 30 to 50 rubles per day from January 1, 2022.
