VTB Bank introduced a service for transferring money using a personal QR code in its services.

"Now it has become easier and more convenient for VTB customers to make a deposit - it is enough to scan a QR code or follow a link from a messenger. It is possible to deposit funds both from VTB and other banks' cards. The service will be useful for self-employed people and clients with micro-commerce, who will be able to receive payments for their goods and services at VTB", - Nikita Chugunov, Senior Vice-President of VTB, informed the bank.

He noted that the transfer will be made without commission fee. In order to get the transfer by QR-code the client of the bank will have to generate a personal code through the application, he explained.

It is expected that next year over 50 thousand users of the bank will use the service.
