Trans-Baikal Territory exported 19 horses of local breed to Mongolia

The "Service Agro" company has escorted 19 horses of Transbaikalian breed abroad at once for the first time, said the company's director Artur Dondokov.

"We loaded 19 horses, as well as fodder, into two trucks. We have made a declaration through the Primorskaya customs and transported them across the state border", - the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia quotes him as saying.

It is noted that Mongolian importers personally selected each horse. During the negotiations they asked for a photo, pedigree and the results of the race. After that, the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Trans-Baikal Territory conducted a clinical examination of the horses and took blood samples for disease testing. The animals were fully compliant with the requirements of the recipient country.

It is already known that the buyers were satisfied with the purchase and they have already signed another contract to supply the horses. There are plans to export another 25 horses by the end of the year.
