Wines of Derbent winemaking company of Dagestan received four medals at the micro wine and cheese-making contest "KMV on KMV-2021", the press service of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported.

It is noted that the jury of the contest awarded with gold a red dry Di Caspico Merlot and a white dry Di Caspico Rkatsiteli.

Besides, a silver medal was awarded to a pearl wine Di Caspico Fiori di Mare, and a bronze one to a sparkling Di Caspico Brut.

Producers from Russia and neighboring countries took part in the competition. The experts assessed the contestants blindly using international 100 point system.

The event was held in the city of Zheleznovodsk, Stavropol Region.
