Cofix was included in the top 10 largest chains in the country and ranked second in terms of audience loyalty in Moscow and the Moscow region, where most of the brand's establishments are currently located, the company's press service told the Made in Russia editorial office.

This data follows from the annual review of the Russian market of coffee shops and pastry shops, carried out by a team of analysts from RBC Market Research, Cofix specified.

"Despite the negative impact of the pandemic, the network growth in 2021 was 15.2%. The past year was marked by an active departure of the brand in the regions. The first Cofix coffee shops appeared in Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Tula and Ivanovo. The regional development will be one of the priority directions of the company due to which the network plans to increase the number of coffee houses in Russia to 325 in 2022", - the network said.

The General Director of "Urban Cofix Russia" Blazey Bernard Reiss noticed that the regional development of the brand is realized not only by means of building new coffee houses but also by the support of local entrepreneurs, who have difficulties to cope with the economic crisis and covider restrictions of the last years.

"In August this year we launched a program that allows owners of other coffee shops to connect to the digital ecosystem of Cofix, to take advantage of operational, technical, logistical, legal and marketing support of the brand. We already have a case where the transition of a no-name coffee shop under the Cofix brand has shown an increase in revenue of up to 50%. Recently opened point in Ivanovo is the first regional project of Cofix on non-network coffee house rebranding", - he said.

In the future Cofix plans to take at least 10% of the Russian market of coffee shops. By the end of 2021 the chain will have 220 coffee houses in Russia, 29 coffee houses in Belarus and two coffee houses in Kazakhstan, more than 95% of which were opened together with franchisees, they said.
