Three modernized employment centers will open in the Omsk region in 2022

Three modernized employment centers will be opened in the Omsk region in 2022, said Irina Varnavskaya, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development of the region.

"The opening of the first modernized center is scheduled for early January. We have already finished repairing works, but we continue working on information services," - she noted.

According to the deputy minister, the department will also restructure the center's work. In particular, there will be an emphasis on the work on the selection of vacancies and employment of young people and assistance to the unemployed.

In this regard, Varnavskaya noticed that by the end of the year the total unemployment rate in the region decreased from 8,5% to 5,7% - from 86,3 to 58 thousand people. No significant changes on the regional labor market are forecasted in 2022. However, there are still risks of deterioration of the regional labor market in case of tightening of restrictive measures, she noted.
