Experts named the leaders in growth dynamics among retailers

The leaders among FMCG-retailers (stores selling mass-market products) in terms of revenue growth in the three quarters of this year were discounter "Svetofor" and "VkusVill", INFOLine agency analysts found out. The results are available to the editors of Made in Russia.

Thus, "Svetofor" for this period has increased sales by almost 41%, to 200.5 billion rubles, excluding VAT, and "VkusVill" - by 39.5%, to 112.9 billion rubles, excluding VAT.

"The drivers of the market on the whole are discounters and convenience stores: "Pyaterochka" increased its revenue by 10.8% over the past nine months, "Magnit" - developing a model of convenience stores - by 10.9%. The discounter "Yes!" is at the forefront of the group of companies "O'Kay", which has increased its revenue by 5.9%. (29.2% dynamics)," - told the agency.

Sales of "Magnit", which absorbed the network "Dixie" in the third quarter rose by 28.2% to 475.5 billion rubles. As analysts specified, the growth, adjusted for the acquisition of "Dixy", was 13.8%.

Lenta retail revenue, taking into account the absorption of networks Billa and "Family" increased by 13.5%, reaching 116.1 billion rubles.

"The INFOLine rating included the Fix Price chain, which works in the format of low fixed prices and has food in its sales structure - they account for 25% to 28% of the assortment. In a number of FMCG categories the company is quite a prominent player", - the press service noted.

According to INFOLine experts, e-commerce remains an important factor in accelerating the sales growth of market leaders. The revenue of X5 Group's digital businesses increased by 157%. Lenta's online sales increased by 237% and O'Key Group's by 140%. The leader in the level of development of omni-channel (a single system of interaction with the buyer through different channels), as analysts found out, remained the network "VkusVill". Its share of e-commerce in total sales over nine months was 25%, and by the end of next year it may exceed 40%, INFOLine added.
