Small and medium-sized businesses in Moscow exceeded pre-pandemic revenues in the fall by 26%, the mayor's office said.

"Small and medium-sized enterprises from the list of industries recognized as the hardest hit exceeded the fall 2019 figures. Their turnover for September-November 2021 was 421.9 billion rubles, exceeding the pre-crisis level by 26%," the report said.

According to the capital authorities, the turnover of the most affected segments of trade in September - November 2021 increased by 83.7% by the same period of 2019. The consumer services sector increased revenue by 64% compared to fall 2019. Dentistry increased turnover by 59%, media and printing by 67%.

It is also known that the revenue of companies in the affected industries amounted to 461.3 billion rubles. Total turnover of the affected industries has reached 4.3 trillion rubles for the 11 months of 2021.
