Average prices in Moscow hotels are close to the pre-Victorian level

The average cost of accommodation in Moscow hotels is close to pre-summer levels and amounted to 6.3 thousand rubles per night. This is 6.2% lower than it was two years ago, according to an analytical report Marketbeat Lite, which was prepared by Cushman & Wakefield specialists for the fourth quarter of 2021.

After four consecutive waves of the coronavirus in the Russian capital, hotel owners have adapted to the unstable demand, says partner of Cushman & Wakefield Marina Usenko.

"Despite the continuing fluctuations in demand, the main operational indicators of the Moscow market have stabilized, and the average price per room has even approached the pre-summer levels," TASS quoted her as saying.

The average price per night in a hotel for 11 months of last year rose by 22% compared to 2020, amounting to 6.3 thousand rubles. Moreover, this is 6.2% less than it was in the pre-Vision 2019.
