The Russian car market in 2021 grew by 5% up to 1,68 million cars, said Olivier Morne, vice-president of "Avtovaz" for sales and marketing at the final press-conference.

At the same time in 11 months of 2021 car sales grew by almost 7% to 1.4 million units, but in November there was a 20.4% drop in car sales, that is 125,466 thousand cars sold.

As Monet noted, the auto market could peak at 4.2% growth in 2022, or 1.75 million cars.
