"Agroexport": shipments of agricultural goods from Russia in 2021 increased by 22%
Exports of Russian agro-industrial complex (AIC) products in 2021, according to preliminary data, grew by 22%, to $36.4 billion, the federal center "Agroexport" under the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported.
In particular, exports of cereals rose by 10% to $11.092 billion, oil and fats - by 48% to $7.067 billion, fish and seafood - 34% to $7.061 billion.
In addition, shipments of meat and dairy products increased by 30% to $1.49 billion, food and processing products - 13%, to $4.703 billion. Exports of other agribusiness products increased by 10% to $4.624 billion.
The EU accounted for 13% of exports, Turkey for 12%, China for 9.8%, South Korea for 6.9%, Kazakhstan for 5.9%, Egypt for 5.1%, Belarus for 3.9%, Ukraine for 2.4%, Uzbekistan for 2.2%, Japan for 2%.
