The first regional brand "Made in Yamal" was registered in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the press service of the district government reported on Wednesday.

"As a result of the examination conducted by Rospatent on the merits of the designations declared as trademarks, the state registration of the first regional brand "Made in Yamal" took place," the authorities note.

The exclusive right to use and dispose of the trademark "Made in Yamal" belongs to the Department of External Relations of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.

The regional brand will allow Yamal entrepreneurs to find additional sales opportunities and increase product awareness, according to the regional government.
