In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky the dairy plant "Zaozerny" has established the only production of Greek yogurt in Siberia and the Far East.

According to the head of the enterprise, Vasily Milovanov. modern equipment was purchased and the new shop was repaired within the framework of the investment project. "This allowed us to start producing five types of sour-milk products - cottage cheese, thermo-static sour cream, milkshakes, grain cottage cheese in cream and Greek yogurt. We are the only company in the Far East and Siberia which produces this healthy and dietary product gaining popularity in Russia by separation method. Greek yogurt, as well as other types of our products, are already a strong competitor to the products of Western producers in Kamchatka," - he said.

The enterprise processes 10 tons of milk a day, the products are supplied to retail chains and stores on the peninsula.
