Food delivery service "Samokat" stopped its activities in 15 cities of Russia and reduced the number of couriers as part of the optimization of work.

"Samokat is optimizing its work under new conditions. The number of users and operational indicators in some cities and districts have not reached the necessary level for the effective operation of the service. Therefore, "Samokat" stopped its activities there, as well as reduced the number of courier partners", - the company said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

The service stopped working in such cities as Aksai, Arzamas, Berezovsky, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Dmitrov, Zhukovsky, Kamensk-Uralsky, Kopeisk, Krasnokamsk, Naro-Fominsk, Nakhabino, Pervouralsk, Salavat, Sergiev Posad and the Chelyabinsk - Western district.

The company noted that they continue to expand internal processes, a pool of suppliers and work on signing new contracts with Russian and foreign producers, working out the most optimal logistics chain for the delivery of imported goods.
