Finnish concern Valio has completed negotiations on the sale of its Russian division, which will go to Velcom Group.

Under the deal, the buyer will acquire the rights to the Viola brand and to a processed and semi-solid cheese plant in the Moscow region.

The group receives the right to manufacture and sell products under the brands not included in the deal for a transitional period, which may last until the end of 2022.

All of the company's employees will continue to work there after the restructuring.
