In Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug entrepreneurs of Surgut district will be able to get grants up to 15 million rubles, said Andrey Trubetskoy, the head of the district.

"Undoubtedly, the sanctions impact did not bypass the Surgut district as well. We have conducted surveys of entrepreneurial community, collected the problems faced by small and medium business, and that is why we have increased the grant support up to 15 million rubles for SME projects in manufacturing, IT-technology, tourism, healthcare, and for organizing private animal shelters," he said.

Moreover, a moratorium on fines, penalties and forfeits under land and property lease agreements has also been introduced in the region, the amount of rent for small and medium business has been reduced twice, a base of manufacturers of materials and products located in Ugra to substitute imported goods has been formed.
