Russia's Geropharm plans to supply products to Armenia
Russian pharmaceutical company Geropharm(a participant of Made in Russia project) plans to enter the Armenian market. Last week, Alexander Nesterenko, head of export department at Geropharm, met with Anna Donchenko, Russian Trade Representative to Armenia, according to the website of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
They discussed development opportunities of cooperation of the company with Armenian consumers and prospects of localization of pharmaceutical production in Armenia.
According to Donchenko, there is a growing demand for drugs in Armenia and therefore, according to her, today it is especially important to strengthen cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector. She also drew the attention of the company's representative to the need to expand the product line of "Geropharm" in the Armenian market.
"Taking into account the level of prices of Russian products, I believe it is necessary to additionally work on the possibility of Geropharm's participation in the tenders organized by the Armenian Ministry of Healthcare," the trade representative added.
She also suggested the company to participate in business-mission of Russian companies to Armenia this October.
