General Director of the national brand "Made in Russia" Mikhail Sadchenkov told the participants of the panel session "Realizing the potential of national brands of Russia", held in the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2016, about the potential of the brand "Made in Russia" and the marketing opportunities it provides to business.

According to Mikhail Sadchenkov, Made in Russia.ru is a communication platform through which Russian manufacturers can tell about themselves to potential customers in foreign markets, as well as receive marketing tools to present their products and brand abroad.

"We have been taught by Germany, the United States, Japan, and China that Made in. We have the domain madeinrussia.ru. We have formed a strategy to promote Made in Russia on foreign markets. In fact, the Made in Russia brand is becoming an integrator brand, which allows the company to increase its audience coverage," said Mikhail Sadchenkov.

The national brand "Made in Russia" (Made in Russia) was presented at the Milan EXPO 2015 exhibition with the participation of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Igor Shuvalov. The objectives of the Made in Russia project are to create a set of communication tools for the formation of a unified information policy in the foreign media space and promising markets in order to increase the volume of non-resource exports, its promotion, attracting potential partners and consumers. A multilingual portal (www.madeinrussia.ru), a media platform to promote Russian exporters, and a number of catalogues on Russian exporting companies are currently in operation. Also the corporate identity "Made in Russia" has already become one of the elements of visual support of business missions of Russian exporters in different countries of the world, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
