As part of his annual Address to the State Council of the Chuvash Republic, President Mikhail Ignatiev spoke out for the need to produce food products under the "Made in Russia" and "Made in Chuvashia" brands.

"Our goal is to produce organic food under the Made in Russia and Made in Chuvashia brands, which will be in demand both at home and abroad," the President said.

In addition, Mikhail Ignatiev spoke about the prospect of reviving hop production, citing statistics that only 2% of breweries in Russia are supplied with domestic raw materials.

In addition to the vector to increase exports and promote the region's products, the speech separately noted the construction of the tourist cluster "Ethnic Chuvashia", for the implementation of which more than 1 billion rubles was allocated.
