The volume of exports of canned meat from Stavropol since the beginning of 2022 has increased by 65% compared to the same period a year earlier. This is stated in the press service of the regional government.

The main export direction of canned meat for the region is Tajikistan. At the same time, canned chicken produced in Stavropol are popular in Mongolia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Uzbekistan, and turkey, beef and pork - in Georgia.

According to Dmitry Frolko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, the region's agrarians are actively involved in the implementation of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", the regional project "Export of agricultural products", delivering products to friendly countries.

At the moment, the region has already managed to apply a set of measures aimed at increasing the competitive advantages of domestic products of the agro-industrial complex. In addition, new logistics chains have been built in Stavropol, allowing us to continue effective work in this direction.
