A Russian enterprise has carried out a set of works for a state company of Uzbekistan. It is about cooperation of domestic engineering center VNIPIpromtekhnologii with Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant.

Now the customer will be able to significantly redistribute the costs that are required for transportation of rock mass from the Muruntau quarry.

For this purpose, the Russian company has identified the best directions and created transport schemes for ore and rock cargo flows.

In addition, several ways of arrangement of cyclic-flow technology complexes were suggested and it was calculated how much mining transport equipment will be needed during 10 years, until the open pit is exhausted, said Andrey Kasatkin, head of the scientific and innovation activity department of VNIPIpromtechnologii.

This is not the first foreign cooperation. Recently, the domestic company implemented a project for one of the world's largest gold producers, which enabled the company to bring reserves with lower grades of metal in the ore into production. This led to an increase in reserves by 169%.
