Tonar Machine Building Plant has started testing a new tractor trailer BS-17 Bogatyr.

The company is testing together with one of the largest dairy farming companies located in the Ryazan Region.

The new trailer will be used for the transportation of organic fertilizers and agricultural loads.

Due to the hydraulic front wall of the body, the new model is able to bale silage and haylage, which allows you to deliver the goods in larger quantities. Thanks to the height-adjustable drawbar, the optimum hitch can also be attached to the trailer.

About 30 tons of cargo can be transported on the trailer at a time. The new vehicle is easy to operate, because it is equipped with steering first and third axles. At the same time, it can be supplemented with a spreader for organic fertilisers.

During testing, specialists will evaluate the functionality of the new model, the overall cost-effectiveness in operation and its reliability.

The Tonar Machinery Plant is the largest Russian manufacturer of the trailer and semi-trailer equipment. The company is the only Russian manufacturer of mine dump trucks and heavy haul trains. The plant belongs to the Rosspetsmash Association.
