Presidential Envoy to the Russian Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev visited the cultural and educational center under construction on Russky Island. The facility is due to be commissioned by the end of next summer.

Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of Primorsky Krai, was present with Trutnev during the visit.

Several creative schools are to be opened in the center - a choreographic school, a music school and a general education school. There will also be boarding schools and dormitories.

The Center will consist of 9 buildings. As early as in 2020, in 8 of them it is planned to start decorating and carrying out of internal engineering communications.

As the Plenipotentiary emphasized, the Center is to be completed on time, in August of the next year. In early autumn, the Eastern Economic Forum may be held there.

As it became known earlier, the Russky Island began to be equipped with new bunkers for waste collection in places where a lot of people gather, for example, they have already been installed on cape Vyatlina, on the University avenue and in settlement Pospelovo.
