Moscow Authorities to Allocate Over RUR 31 Million to Small and Medium-Sized Businesses

The Moscow City Government has decided to send small and medium-sized enterprises more than 31 million rubles as financial support.

As specified by Alexei Fursin, the head of Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development, such financial support will be available to 65 companies, which do business as franchisees or have previously had the cost to promote their products through exhibitions.

This amount was approved according to the results of the last week. At present, industry commissions, which work under the Department, have approved more than 570 applications, received from businessmen, their total amount exceeds 741 million rubles.

On this money 35 Moscow companies will get an opportunity of partial compensation of expenses for participation in exhibitions. Also, subsidies will be granted to 30 entrepreneurs, whose activities are based on franchise agreements.

Note, the reception of applications began in early July and will be completed at the end of this month. As of today, according to Fursin, about 4.5 thousand companies and enterprises are preparing the documents for further submission.
