The CEO of iHerb Russia became a Business Ambassador of Business Russia in California

Aleksey Repik, chairman of the all-Russian public organization Business Russia, has decided to appoint Ilya Mikin, a member of the general council and CEO of iHerb Russia, as the organization's business ambassador in the US state of California. The Made in Russia project was informed about it by the press service of iHerb in Russia.

Thus, Mikin will have to assist domestic companies in introducing their products to the market of the United States, holding events that will inform exporters about the regulatory requirements, logistics, as well as distribution channels and marketing promotion in California.

At the same time, the business ambassador is ready to assist U.S. entrepreneurs, who intend to work with Russian companies, in various online and offline events to build trust between the business communities of the two countries.

As Mikin himself said, our country's market is one of the largest in the world, even in spite of sanctions and the fall in the rouble over the past six years. American companies, he said, in spite of mutual sectoral sanctions and the geopolitical situation, continue to enter the Russian market, mainly in the field of information technology and pharmaceuticals.

In addition, a number of Russian companies are now developing and launching competitive products at the international level. At the same time, taking into account the falling ruble exchange rate, domestic goods are becoming competitive in terms of price to quality ratio.

The designated business ambassador said that the supply of Russian products outside of our country is increasing by 30% every year through online channels alone.
