Macro EMC started the construction of a new electronics contract manufacturing plant in the Obukhovo industrial zone in St. Petersburg.

The area of the new enterprise will be about 4 thousand m², and the volume of investments in the project will exceed 500 million rubles.

Today the company has high-speed surface mounting lines with the total production capacity of over 200 thousand components per hour. Three more modern lines will be added to the existing two. This will result in a threefold increase in productivity.

Moreover, as Dmitry Veleslavov, Macro Group's Chairman of the Board emphasized, the company plans to expand its own production 1.5 times and intends to export its products to foreign markets.

The new enterprise will be opened next summer.

At the moment the company produces over 100 thousand electronic modules a year. In the past year, the company's customers were not only organizations from the Russian Federation, but also from Kazakhstan and Belarus.
