Chelyabinsk Automobile Plant "Ural" has launched serial production of a new cabover truck "Ural-9593.». The prototype of this machine was demonstrated 3 years ago.

Previously the plant has already been producing 8×8 trucks, but such heavy trucks haven't been produced.

GVW of the new truck is 44 tons and maximum payload is up to 30 tons. The chassis is designed so that it can be mounted on special heavy superstructures to work in difficult conditions, primarily in mining industry.

The truck has a six-cylinder turbodiesel and hexadecimal gearbox.

By the end of 2020, the company intends to make 7 chassis of the Ural-9593, on which heavy crane units from the Chelyabinsk Mechanical Plant will be mounted, and delivered to the customer, Surgutneftegaz.
