The Chuvash authorities intend to purchase hydrofoils Valday 45P.

It is planned to do this for the development of river tourism for those who come on cruise routes on the Volga, and for local residents.

According to expectations of local authorities, launching of new vessels will positively influence economy of Kozlovka and Mariinsky Posad, coastal small historic towns of the republic. In the future, the region intends to launch water transport to Kazan from Cheboksary.

Chuvashia has already applied for preferential financing from the federal budget.
