Evraz, a metals and mining company, has installed two new Russian-made crushers in its own workshop fleet.

The new equipment is capable of crushing ore up to 16 millimetres in diameter of 300 millimetres. After that it is directed further along the technical process chain.

Compared to the previous crushers, the new ones are dust-free and have a vibration-resistant housing.

In addition, the majority of the processes are controlled automatically. For example, the adjustment of the discharge gap used to require considerable physical effort. This operation can now be accomplished at the push of a few buttons.

The capacity of the installed crushers is also higher than the previous models and exceeds 250 tonnes of ore per hour.

Evraz is a vertically integrated steel and mining company with assets in Canada, the USA, Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic. Moreover, the company is included in the list of the world's largest steel producers.
