Tekhnonikol increases thermal insulation exports to New Zealand

Roofing, waterproofing and insulation materials manufacturer Technonikol has increased its export capacity in New Zealand amid the pandemic.

The Made in Russia project was told by the corporation that this year the company has supplied more than 30 thousand square metres of the energy-efficient Logicpir insulation to New Zealand.

The country is considered one of the most environmentally friendly regions in the world. The materials used in construction here are subject to stringent safety and environmental requirements.

Besides, this country was the first in the world to introduce the carbon tax and in the near future it is planned to reach the neutral balance of carbon emission into the atmosphere. These factors underpin the importance of high-quality, efficient insulation materials, as better insulated buildings consume less energy to heat and cool them, thus making a greater contribution to protecting the environment.

New Zealand construction companies are regular customers of Technonikol, with which Logicpir insulation boards are especially popular. These products are distinguished by their low thermal conductivity, high durability, fire safety, practically zero water absorption, and resistance to aggressive environments. Such boards are used in this country both in industrial and civil construction, and in private housing construction.

The Russian corporation first started supplying construction materials to New Zealand in 2016.

"Since then, we have only expanded our cooperation. We are certainly pleased that New Zealand builders appreciate the advantages of Logicpir. Increasing supplies to this country is a real victory for the Russian construction industry and our company," said Evgeny Spiryakov, Chief Operating Officer of Technonikol.
