Manufacturer of energy-efficient LED lighting "LED-Effect" has developed an expanded line of four antibacterial recirculators series "Antivirus" in connection with the complicated epidemiological situation in the world.

"LED-Effect specialists offer a new type of device to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The company has started production of a disinfecting device of closed recirculation type, combined with LED office lamp - device "Antivirus", - said the representative of the company.

He clarified that the silent device is capable of disinfecting the air in rooms with a constant presence of people from 99% of the known viruses and bacteria. This effect was achieved by using a special module isolated from the eye with ultraviolet radiation in the range of 254 Nm and an active system of pumping air.

The "LED-Effect" antibacterial line includes four devices:

- "Office Antivirus" - UV recirculator, combined with LED lamp, designed for the room up to 30 square meters. It can be installed in administrative and office, general education, public and medical institutions, as well as in shopping malls. The device can operate in rooms with a constant presence of people. The luminaire is designed for recessed installation in suspended ceilings "Armstrong", as well as in ceilings "Grillato".

- "Retail Antivirus" - UV recirculator combined with LED lamp. It is capable of working in rooms up to 30 square meters with a constant presence of people - in the trading rooms of shops, hypermarkets and supermarkets, as well as in administrative and office premises. The luminaire is designed for suspended mounting on wires or for surface mounting.

- "Antivirus" is a disinfecting recirculator. It is designed for operation in premises with constant presence of people up to 45 sq. meters. Can be installed by surface mounting or floor installation in apartments, private houses, offices, public and administrative-office institutions.

- "Antivirus Prom" - disinfecting recirculator of combined type for premises up to 120 square meters. meters. Can be installed as through wall mounting, and floor placement. Can be applied in industrial enterprises, factories, workshops, general education and administrative and office premises.

For the device "Antivirus Prom" provides two modes of operation:

- Constant air purification mode in rooms with the presence of people. The door of the device should be closed.

- Mode of short-term direct irradiation of the room space, the door of the device in this mode is open and the bactericidal flux from the UV lamps is spread in the room. Presence of people in the room when the device operates in this mode is not allowed. Duration of treatment of the room in this mode is from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the possible contamination of the room. Treatment can be applied cyclically every two hours.

Quality control

Specialists of the laboratory of CSET NASB tested the new lighting fixture "Antivirus" from the manufacturer of energy efficient LED lighting "LED-Effect".

The main purpose of the tests was to obtain confirmation of the declared performance of the device, as well as the fact that the lighting fixture has a closed recirculation module with UV lamps.

The closed recirculation type unit with UV lamps for air purification successfully passed all tests. As part of quality control of the unit, spectral characteristics of the closed UV unit, which is responsible for disinfection of recirculated inside air, as well as all parameters of the built-in lamp were measured - lighting, electrical, colorimetric and radiometric.

According to the conclusion of the experts, the luminaire itself showed good results in all tests: the value of light output (110 lm/W) for its color temperature (4000 K) and the type of diffuser used - microprism. In addition, the device is almost completely free of pulsation of luminous flux (0.6%).

According to the results of the most important parameter - the emission spectrum of the bactericidal lamps, the UV-irradiator has also confirmed its quality. Bactericidal lamps must emit in the UV-C range with a maximum wavelength of 254 nm. Tests by experts showed that the wavelength of maximum radiation of tested UV lamps "Antivirus" is 253.74 nm. In other words, the disinfection module destroys 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. In addition, the thickness of the device body is significantly increased (up to 135 mm) compared to similar lamps, because the UV unit is made in the same housing as the lamp itself.
