The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has launched three open tenders for research and development (R&D) in the field of offshore gas turbine engineering.

More than 3.7 billion rubles have been allocated for this purpose under the state program. According to the Unified Information System (UIS) in the field of procurement, the procedures were announced in the middle of this month. Bids will be accepted until December 7.

The highest price of 2.5 billion rubles was set for the development of experimental technology of the digital twin of the marine gas turbine engine and gearbox as part of the unit.

The agency is ready to pay more than 330 million rubles for research and development work on creation of heat-resistant corrosion-resistant alloys for turbines of marine gas turbine engines and the corresponding experimental technology for production of blanks-demonstrators.

Besides, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is holding a tender for development of a low-emission combustion chamber for marine gas turbine engines and its production technology. The maximum price for this work exceeds 870 million roubles.
