Russian Trading Company in China (RTC) Hua No E Xiang and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) signed an agreement on strategic cooperation, which provides for interaction between the parties in the export of machinery and other products from Russia to China.

Russia annually supplies machine engineering products to China worth around $600 million, said Artem Sharov, chairman of the RTK Board of Directors to China. He noted that this is only about 1% of the total export volume of domestic products.

Sharov also spoke about the work with Russian regions - the first agreement with Perm Krai has already been signed and several more documents will be signed this year.

In addition, RTK has signed contracts for the export of Russian engineering products in 2020, for example, the company's clients include the manufacturer of autonomous robots, Promobot, and one of the oldest brands of mechanical watches in Russia, Raketa.

According to Sharov, in addition to engineering and electronics products, the parties agreed to consider non-core requests from Chamber member companies, including food products.

President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce Zhang Yujing said that together with the RCC they will work on the development of trade between Russia and China. Now the SCCME consists of more than 10 thousand companies that are interested in trade deals and investment cooperation.

RTK is a subsidiary of the Russian Export Center and VEB Asia Limited.
