The first shipment with the Russian vaccine against Sputnik V coronavirus has arrived in the Iranian capital.

The shipment was delivered by a plane of the local airline, Mahan Air, to Imam Khomeini Airport, the local broadcaster IRIB reported.

The next two deliveries are scheduled for February 30 and March 10.

The domestic drug, Sputnik V, was the first imported vaccine in Iran.
