The Government of the Russian Federation has ordered that urgent measures be taken to support small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the trading industry. The relevant document was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

According to the order, regional authorities have been given a recommendation to facilitate the work of small trade formats in crowded places. To do this, it is necessary to make the most accessible outlets for customers, to increase the number of markets and fairs, to extend contracts for placement without bidding.

Also unnecessary administrative barriers should be eliminated. We are talking, for example, about restrictions on the range of products. As noted on the website of the Ministry of Trade of the country, places with high passability should be allocated for trade in products from their gardens or farms.

It is noted that regional authorities should take two months to adopt relevant regulations and inform the population of the new retail trade opportunities.
