IETC will hold 25 business missions for entrepreneurs in 2021

Acceptance of applications from entrepreneurs to participate in international business missions organised by the Moscow Export Centre has started.

It is noted that a total of 25 such events are planned for this year, and all of them will be held online.

Deputy Mayor of the capital, Natalia Sergunina, said that such meetings provide an opportunity to cover prospective markets in Europe, Asia and the CIS countries.

This year the main part of the program is focused on EU, especially on Greece, Italy, Germany and France. However, preparations are also underway for business missions to China, India, Japan, Israel and Kazakhstan.

The events will consist of a series of meetings, during which Moscow organisations will be able to introduce their own products or services to foreign buyers and business partners. This year some of the main industry sectors will be information technology, medicine, electronics and food industry.

On the eve of the meetings the experts will make marketing and organizational preparations. In particular, they will analyze the conditions for entering a particular foreign market. Experts will also search for potential buyers and help entrepreneurs to prepare for negotiations to maximize the final result.

In 2020, against the backdrop of the pandemic, all business missions moved to an online format. Then the products of the capital's production were presented in 13 countries. According to preliminary results, Moscow companies signed contracts for 30 million rubles, while negotiations on the results of many meetings are still ongoing.
