"Linde Severstal exported the last of five spiral coiled heat exchangers (SVTO) to Spain.

Full production cycle was performed at the production site: coiling of pipes, assembly of SVTO and testing of the finished product. Weight of finished product ranges from 14 to 110 tons.

Equipment of such class was exported from Russia for the first time.

In future the joint venture is planning to produce large capacity spiral wound heat exchangers weighing up to 1000 tons for liquefied natural gas plants.

At present, Linde Severstal is working on producing a tube bundle of heat exchangers weighing up to 300 tonnes. It will be used in the liquefied natural gas plant within Novatek's Arctic LNG 2 project.

"Linde Severstal" is a joint venture between Severstal and the German company Linde GmbH.
