The moratorium on inspections "saved" SMEs 300 billion rubles

Small businesses were able to save about 300 billion rubles on fines. According to Svetlana Chupsheva, head of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), the share of those who were visited by unscheduled inspections decreased by 30% over the year.

"For our business a breath of fresh air was the moratorium on inspections of small businesses. For the first time in five years we have heard in surveys of entrepreneurs that the share of those who were visited by unannounced inspections decreased by 30%," - TASS quotes her.

Recall, the moratorium was one of the measures to support businesses during the pandemic coronavirus. Since April 2020, about 100 results of inspections of small and medium-sized companies carried out during the moratorium on such actions were cancelled.

The ban does not apply to unscheduled inspections, which are carried out because of possible harm to health, threat to life, occurrence of emergency situations.

St.Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place on June 2-5. This year's topic is "Together Again. Economy of the New Reality". The event is organized by Roscongress Foundation.
