Tatarstan's Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs has set the limit of subsidized short-term lending for agrarians in the amount of almost 690 million rubles in 2021, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture said.

"Subsidies are allocated for the following areas: small farms - 138 million rubles; crop production - 278.1 million rubles; livestock breeding - 97.9 million rubles; dairy cattle breeding - 122.8 million rubles; processing of products - 52.8 million rubles. The credit limit limit for one borrower in 2021 - not more than 1 billion rubles, the organizations involved in sugar beet processing and poultry - not more than 1.5 billion rubles", - the statement says.

As of June 3, 252 farms worth 15.9 billion rubles, including 164 small farms worth 2.3 billion rubles, and 151 applications for seasonal field work worth 7.8 billion rubles, including 98 applications from small farms worth 1.6 billion rubles, the ministry said.
